Highwire Safety Badges and Awards reflect a contractor’s commitment to improving risk management and signify a safer, more viable business partner.

Safety Awards are given to contractors who achieve a Safety Score greater than or equal to 85, exemplifying exceptional safety management practices. Contractors with a Safety Score between 85 and 94 receive a Gold Safety Award, and contractors with a Safety Score of 95 or greater receive a Platinum Safety Award. All other contractors receive a badge certifying they have been assessed by Highwire.

Finding your Highwire Award

1. Visit www.highwire.com and sign in.

2. Click the Awards page.

3. Click the button to download your unique badge.

4. Click “Social Media,” “Website,” and “Email Signature” for award images.

Click on the award image and when a new tab opens, right-click the image and select ‘save image as’ to save it to your files.

Promoting your Highwire Award

Earning a Highwire Award is worthy of praise. Your badge is already included on your profile in the Highwire Network, where potential new clients can review your qualifications and see your award status.

There are other ways to promote your award, including on your social media, company website, and email signatures. These awards help you differentiate yourself as a safe, reliable, and valuable partner on construction projects.

On Your Company Website

You can place your Highwire Badge wherever you see fit on your website, but many of our contractors choose to promote it on an “awards and recognition” page, their company blog, and in some cases, the landing page.

Hyperlink your badge to your Highwire Network profile or www.highwire.com.

Your Highwire Badge should be shared on your social media account(s). It is recommended to post it quarterly. Be sure to tag Highwire on LinkedIn. Below are some examples you can copy and personalize:

What is the value of the Award?

A Platinum or Gold Safety Award entitles you to an Award Badge, a Certificate of Achievement, and a press release from Highwire. Awards help you stand out to win new business and may be used to reduce insurance costs.

Highwire Awards can be displayed on your website, social media, email signature, and any other public materials. Badge holders are also displayed at the top of search results on our Network.

Can I buy one?

No. Highwire Badges cannot be purchased. They are earned through a company’s commitment to safety.

I have a Safety Score in the range, but I can’t find my award.

If you are enrolled in Highwire under multiple trades, you must meet the Safety Score threshold for each trade to receive the award.

I have a badge from last year. Do I need to update my badge?

Each year, your Safety Score is recalculated, which generates updated awards and recipients. Make sure you display the latest badge on your website, social media, and email signature to maximize the benefit of this recognition.
